A Tokoname Burn- string trio and guitar

This piece was commissioned by Chie Morimoto to be performed on October 30th, 2010 at the INAX Live Hall in Tokoname. Tokoname is renowned for its pottery arts, and I wanted to both acknowledge that idea and also the other idea that Burn has taken to mean these days. I imagined a late autumn/early winter day in this beautiful little town.
